Hair, Scalp and Nail Disorders

Hair, scalp, and nail conditions often reflect both localized dermatological diseases and systemic health disorders. This session will focus on the diagnosis and management of alopecia areata, androgenetic alopecia, cicatricial alopecia, scalp infections, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis of the scalp, nail dystrophies, fungal nail infections, and inflammatory nail disorders. Participants will explore advances in trichoscopy, nail imaging, regenerative hair therapies, platelet-rich plasma, stem cell applications, hair transplantation, and emerging pharmacological treatments. Discussions will also address cosmetic concerns, patient counseling, and innovations in hair and nail research that improve clinical outcomes.
